My Notes

This is a super unique gin. I thought it might be another run of the mill gin with a slightly different collection of botanicals, but its more than that. Immediately after pouring, its very pungent, and as advertised reminds you of raindrops on a hot summer day hitting the pavement. A bit like dirt and water and memories of being a child.

The taste is a bomb of cilantro, which is normally not my favorite taste, but paired with the liquorice, orange and ginger it really works out. The sweetness lingers a bit longer as the cilantro fades.

This is a brand new release, I'll probably try it in a couple cocktails and add some notes here.

How to Taste
With your whiskey at room temperature, put the glass near your nose and close your eyes and inhale. What do you smell? Drink a sip, just enough to cover your tounge and swish it around front, left and right. then down the hatch. What do you taste? If it burns a little, maybe try to add a couple drops of water. Otherwise, try again - usually after the initial burn, you may get some of the flavors you are looking for.
